Depending on the situation, we may be involved at various points in a transaction, including the following:
- Prior to the signing of the Letter of Intent (LOI) to help an investor optimize its preliminary bid, particularly in the context of an auction process
- Following the execution of the LOI (i.e., during the exclusivity period) to perform traditional financial and accounting due diligence
- Preparatory sell side diligence
- Post-transaction considerations such as working capital disputes
From the time of engagement, a typical process lasts approximately two to four weeks. The time frame varies depending on deal complexity and availability of key data and personnel.
