Brian has over 20 years of due diligence, finance and accounting experience working on acquisitions of manufacturing, technology and service sector companies.
Prior to the formation of CDS, Brian was in the Transaction Services practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he led due diligence assignments for acquisitive technology companies. While at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Brian advised on more than 50 M&A transactions ranging in size from $10 million to over $1 billion in transaction value.
Brian began his career at Coopers & Lybrand in Los Angeles. He has served on the board of environmental groups including the Surfrider Foundation and the San Francisco Baykeeper and has been actively involved with youth-oriented organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Junior Achievement and The Guardsmen.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, with honors, from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Brian is an avid cyclist and enjoys outdoor cooking.
Anthony has over 20 years of experience in private equity and financial assurance and advisory services.
Prior to joining CDS, Anthony was a vice president at JP Morgan Partners, LLC (JPMP), the private equity division of JPMorgan Chase & Co., where he managed a portfolio of middle-market buyout and venture capital investments. While at JPMP, Anthony made recommendations for multiple investment decisions and structured several secondary sale transactions. Before joining JPMP, Anthony provided financial assurance and advisory services at Deloitte & Touche, focusing on financial services, manufacturing and technology companies. He currently serves on the advisory board of Junior Achievement for San Francisco and Marin County.
Anthony holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (concentration in Accounting) with honors from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Anthony is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California and is a CFA charterholder. Anthony is a former piano player and when not chasing his three sons, is interested in real estate investing.
Michael J. Lang
Michael has over 20 years of accounting, financial and investing experience.
Prior to the formation of CDS Lender Services, Michael was a managing director at a regional diligence firm, where he assisted middle-market lending and private equity clients in their due diligence efforts.
Previously, Michael spent 13 years in lending and investing roles. As a senior vice president at Foothill Capital (now Wells Fargo Foothill) Michael was responsible for sourcing, analyzing and underwriting credit investments in the middle market for highly leveraged investments. At Canyon Capital Advisors, Michael was responsible for the firm's investments in the illiquid asset class. Michael began his career as an auditor at Ernst & Young.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California. Mike is frequent golfer and a nearly professional youth sports coach.
Hanh has over 12 years of experience in the financial industry, including financial diligence and investment management.
Prior to joining CDS, Hanh was an investment manager and strategic planner at Falcon Bridge Capital, a hedge fund that managed a $1 billion dollar portfolio for one of the largest private equity firms in the United States. In addition to being actively involved in the initial fundraising and operational set-up at Falcon Bridge Capital, her day-to-day responsibilities included sourcing and valuing new investment opportunities, as well as overseeing the accounting/finance operations and investor reporting process. Before joining Falcon Bridge Capital, Hanh was with Redwood Trust as the Finance Manager for its CDO group and a Treasury Analyst at First Republic Bank.
Hanh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Economy and a Minor in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley. Outside the office, Hanh volunteers at Children’s Hospital Oakland and the Bay Area Crisis Nursery and enjoys hiking and camping.
Prior to joining CDS, Lapis worked at Fortress Investment Group, a large private equity/hedge fund firm where she delivered financial analysis and strategic recommendation, analyzed performance and valuations of private equity investments, and assessed profitability of existing funds and new businesses. Prior to Fortress, Lapis worked at KPMG, providing M&A advisory services for private equity firms and strategic buyers to complete transactions in various industries including infrastructure, manufacturing, real estate, financial services and media.
Lapis received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with dual concentrations in Finance and Accounting from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Lapis is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York. Outside the office, Lapis is working to become a certified yoga instructor, plays the flute and piano, and enjoys experimenting with new restaurants and cuisine.
Prior to joining CDS, Jason worked in the Assurance practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he served financial services companies and private equity firms. Before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers, Jason worked as a Wealth Management Intern with Merrill Lynch, where he focused on investment research for equity and fixed income securities and exchange-traded funds.
Jason received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California. Jason was a member of his university’s club volleyball team and is an alumnus of the John Felice Rome Center in Italy.
Prior to joining CDS, Dilpreet was a Senior Analyst at Accenture, where she helped manage project financials and forecasts for multinational clients. She also assisted in implementing financial and program strategies and conducting financial statement analysis for clients. Prior to joining Accenture, Dilpreet worked at Deloitte in Toronto.
Dilpreet earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University, with a specialization in Finance. Dilpreet is a Level III candidate in the CFA program. Dilpreet has volunteered for the Special Olympics, Canadian First Nations Initiatives and the Center for Addiction and Mental Health. She enjoys organized sports as well as home decorating and renovation.
