Prior to the formation of CDS Lender Services, Michael was a Managing Director at a regional diligence firm, where he assisted middle market lending and private equity clients in their due diligence efforts.

Previously, Michael spent 13 years in lending and investing roles. As a Senior Vice President at Foothill Capital (now Wells Fargo Foothill) Michael was responsible for sourcing, analyzing and underwriting credit investments in the middle market for highly leveraged investments. At Canyon Capital Advisors Michael was responsible for the firm's investments in the illiquid asset class. Michael began his career as an auditor at Ernst & Young.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California.
