 Tom has over seventeen years of experience in a wide variety of tax and accounting issues. In his capacity as a Partner at the CPA firm of Shea, Labagh & Dobberstein, he serves as a consulting advisor with our firm.
Mr. Jackson's experience ranges from issues that affect small start-up companies to publicly traded companies. He is experienced in tax savings issues that affect individuals, S corporations, C corporations, Partnerships, and Limited Liability Companies. Mr. Jackson has successfully defended many clients in IRS audits. He is also well versed in multi-state and consolidated tax return issues. He has successfully negotiated employment agreements and shareholder buyout agreements. Prior to joining SLD in 1997, Mr. Jackson's experience included a position as tax manager in an international accounting firm and managing his own firm.
Tom is a CPA and a member of the AICPA and California Society of CPAs. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Economics, emphasis in Accounting, from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
